FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Chelmsford, MA – March 2, 2026 – The New England Police Benevolent Association proudly announces the appointment of Andrea Warpula as its Director of Operations, a senior leadership position that will play a central role in advancing the organization’s operational strength and field support throughout New England.

In her role, Warpula will serve as a key member of NEPBA’s executive leadership team. The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the organization’s day-to-day operations while also serving as a representative providing support to member locals across the region. The position ensures that NEPBA’s mission to deliver strong, effective representation and advocacy for law enforcement professionals is executed consistently, professionally, and with the highest standards of accountability.

Warpula brings with her a depth of experience in operations leadership, union relations, contract administration, and member representation. She will provide leadership across internal teams, drive process improvement, manage budgets and organizational resources, and work in close partnership with executive leadership to support sustainable growth and high performance. At the same time, she will maintain an active presence in the field, attending local meetings, grievance hearings, negotiations, and arbitrations as needed to support NEPBA’s local leadership and membership.

As a primary liaison between NEPBA headquarters and assigned member locals, Warpula will focus on strengthening relationships built on trust, communication, and responsiveness. She will work collaboratively with NEPBA legal counsel and leadership to ensure consistent representation standards, provide guidance on contract interpretation and disciplinary matters, and support organizing efforts, leadership development, and member wellness initiatives.

“I am honored to join NEPBA and serve the dedicated men and women who put on the badge every day,” said Warpula. “Strong representation requires more than strategy. It requires presence, responsiveness, and a commitment to operational excellence. I look forward to working closely with our local leaders to ensure our members receive the support and advocacy they deserve.”

Executive Director Tom Turco emphasized the significance of the appointment as NEPBA continues to grow across New England.

“The Director of Operations is a critical leadership role within our organization,” said Turco. “Andrea understands that operational excellence and field representation go hand in hand. Her experience and leadership will strengthen our internal systems while ensuring our member locals receive consistent, professional support.”

NEPBA President Chris Ryan underscored the broader impact of the addition to the executive team.

“As NEPBA continues to expand, we are committed to building the infrastructure necessary to support our members at the highest level,” said Ryan. “Andrea’s appointment reflects our focus on professionalism, accountability, and delivering real results for law enforcement professionals and their families. She will play an important role in strengthening our organization today and positioning us for the future.”

The addition of Andrea Warpula marks a significant step forward for NEPBA as it continues to enhance operational performance, strengthen member representation, and advance its mission throughout New England.
