NEPBA Endorses John Deaton for U.S. Senate

The New England Police Benevolent Association is proud to announce its endorsement of John Deaton for United States Senate in Massachusetts.
As a United States Marine veteran, attorney, former federal prosecutor, and small business owner, John Deaton has built his career around service, accountability, and standing up for working people. His background reflects a commitment to public service and an understanding of the responsibilities carried every day by the men and women who serve our communities.
At a time when public safety professionals need leaders in Washington who will listen to those on the front lines, respect the work of law enforcement, and approach difficult issues with common sense, NEPBA believes it is important that our members have a meaningful voice at the federal level.
John has made accountability a central part of his campaign, including proposals addressing congressional ethics and term limits. He has also called for securing the nation’s borders while expanding lawful immigration and reforming the asylum system, and has emphasized lowering costs and improving economic opportunities for working families.
Just as importantly, John has presented himself as someone willing to challenge his own party when he disagrees with it and to put the interests of Massachusetts residents ahead of partisan politics.
“John Deaton understands service, sacrifice, and what it means to stand up for working men and women,” said NEPBA President Chris Ryan. “Our members deserve a United States Senator who will listen to the law enforcement community, respect the difficult work our members perform every day, and bring an independent voice to Washington.
