Former State Senator & Sheriff Joins the Ranks of the NEPBA

Chelmsford, MA – January 13, 2026 – The New England Police Benevolent Association (NEPBA) is proud to announce that Guy Glodis has joined NEPBA’s Legislative Affairs team, further strengthening the organization’s advocacy and government relations efforts on behalf of law enforcement officers and their families across New England.

Mr. Glodis brings nearly three decades of experience in state government, public safety, and legislative advocacy. His distinguished career includes service as a Massachusetts State Representative, State Senator, Chairman of the Joint Committee on Public Safety, Chairman of the Joint Committee on Insurance, and Sheriff of Worcester County. Since 2011, he has led The Glodis Group LLC, providing legislative lobbying and government relations services with a focus on public safety, labor, and regulatory issues. His extensive background includes navigating complex legislative processes, securing funding, and delivering tangible results for a wide range of public safety and professional organizations .

In his role with NEPBA, Mr. Glodis will work closely with NEPBA leadership to advance the organization’s legislative priorities, protect the interests of its members, and enhance NEPBA’s presence and effectiveness on Beacon Hill. He will join Steven Panagiotakis, who already serves as a key member of NEPBA’s Legislative Affairs team, creating a formidable advocacy partnership rooted in deep institutional knowledge and longstanding relationships within state government.

With the addition of Mr. Glodis, NEPBA continues to invest in strong, experienced leadership to advance legislative initiatives, defend collective bargaining rights, and promote policies that support the safety, well-being, and professionalism of law enforcement throughout the region.
