The New England Police Benevolent Association (NEPBA) is proud to endorse Chuck Massahos for Rockingham County Sheriff.
For our members throughout New Hampshire, we believe it is important to understand why NEPBA chose to support Chuck Massahos in his re-election.
Chuck Massahos is a 27-year law enforcement veteran and small business owner with deep roots in Rockingham County. He has served with the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office as well as the New Hampshire State Police Auxiliary Unit, gaining specialized experience in communications, readiness, transportation, and administration.
At a time when law enforcement agencies face unprecedented challenges in recruitment, retention, budgeting, and public safety, NEPBA believes experience and proven leadership matter. Leading a sheriff’s office requires a proven record of operational knowledge, administrative expertise, and an understanding of the realities facing today’s law enforcement professionals.
Throughout his career, Sheriff Massahos has demonstrated that leadership. As a small business owner with nearly 40 years of experience managing budgets, controlling costs, negotiating contracts, and planning strategically, he brings a unique combination of law enforcement insight and fiscal responsibility. His campaign emphasizes accountability, efficiency, constituent service, and maintaining a professional Sheriff’s Office that puts public safety first while supporting the men and women who serve.
NEPBA continues to be impressed by his thoughtful approach to the issues that matter most to our members. His decades of hands-on experience, institutional knowledge, and commitment to community engagement position him to continue leading the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office effectively.
