Services More specifically, Therapy Services is a professionally licensed facility owned and operated by law enforcement professionals who have extensive knowledge and expertise in clinical social work, family therapy and alcohol/drug counseling. Michael A. Miles, MSW LADC-1 is a Clinical Social Worker, Child and Family Therapist and a Licensed Alcohol Drug Counselor. As a 27-year veteran of the Lowell, MA Police Department, Officer Miles is well known and well respected for his work in assisting law enforcement professionals with substance abuse, court related counseling and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Officer Miles is nationally recognized for his work and was prominently featured on World News Tonight with the late Peter Jennings and was a finalist for the prestigious Herman Goldstein Award for Excellence in Community Policing. Mr. Miles also has extensive experience in behavioral and social issues involving teenage boys and has provided counseling at the Arbor Counseling Services in Lowell MA for over five years. He is certified in children of separation and divorce, bereavement counseling, substance abuse and he has testified and is recognized by the court as an expert witness in his field and has worked with many courts and probation officers throughout New England. His practice provides therapy treatment for families and young adults with court related issues, requirements and circumstances requiring treatment and counseling.
